Hello!

My name is Chelsy, ever since I was a little girl I have always enjoyed being around animals, especially dogs. I own two of my own rescues, who are my babies. I decided to turn my passion into a career by attending National K-9 Learning Center in Columbus, Ohio. Through my education I earned my master dog training certification. I was a professional pet stylist at Petco for about two years before opening my own business in 2013. I also worked at a local dog daycare for over a year and worked with all types of different dog personalities. I am so thankful to be able to have my job be something that I truly enjoy, the majority of my days are spent around dogs and I can't complain at all, I love what I do. I look forward to meeting you and your pup!

^ This is King & Clyde...
I was in Puerto Rico two years ago & came across this guy tied to a pole in Farjardo. The puppy was one among a litter of strays, whose mother was also a stray & had given birth to them in a crowded and public place. King had no source of shade & was surrounded by dirt & trash. He was clearly under weight, had calluses all over his body, & looked very dehydrated. When I started to approach him he came out to end of the chain & was barking at me, I started to talk to him in the voice we all talk to our pets in, & immediately his tail started to wag. Soon after, he was letting me pet him & was kissing me, showing nothing but love. Since most strays run free there, I went to a nearby restaurant to see if he belonged to anyone since he was chained to the pole. They said a lady came & left him there about six months ago & people were too scared of him to get close enough to free him, but they would throw food for him to eat. Knowing I was probably the only hope for this guy to survive, I took him & the puppy back to my hotel with me. I gave them a nice bath & some food, & with the donations from friends & family, I was able to fly them back to the USA & give them a new life! King was also diagnosed with heartworm, a deadly disease, & went through treatment after arriving. He is finally healthy & heartworm free, & such a good boy!! Below is a recent picture of the two. A friend of mine ended up adopting Clyde & I ended up keeping King, I couldn't let him go, I fell in love! The two still have play dates together & are as spoiled as ever.
